The name CharcuTene is a blend of two important elements in my life: “charcuterie,” the craft of creating beautiful, mouthwatering boards, and “Tene,” my middle name, which is of African origin and symbolizes love and affection. Tene is a name that holds deep meaning for me, reflecting my belief in the power of connection through food. It’s not just about eating—it’s about sharing moments, building relationships, and showing care through the food we create.
As a retired veteran, I’ve learned the value of dedication, discipline, and serving others, and I’ve carried those lessons into my business.
